AvalancheGo v1.1.0 (Apricot Phase 0) released and the network was successfully upgraded. The release includes general preparations for the Apricot network upgrade and fixed an issue that prevented stake-able locked outputs from being unlocked.

The first wave of locked crowdsale AVAX tokens were released. With the new supply included, AVAX now has a valuation of ~$250M and sits at rank 65 on coingecko.

Avascan re-launched their ‘Lazy Snorlax’ and ‘Ditto’ validators. If you delegate to them you get SCAN tokens as a bonus!

Most of the network upgraded to v1.1.0 (~90% of validators) but there are a few stragglers that need to upgrade ASAP. You can see the breakdown at VScout.

Avascan announced Norge, a custom indexer for Avalanche. Right now it supports the X-Chain but will expand later. This will help Avascan implement a wide range of improvements, read more in their blog.

DApp Layer (C-Chain)

Pangolin, a Uniswap style DEX was announced. They plan on distributing 100% of PNG tokens via airdrop (to UNI & SUSHI holders) and liquidity mining.
