How to Use
- Select a trade pair
- Go to the trade tab
- Select the market button
- Choose buy or sell
- Enter an amount
- Click the buy or sell button
- Confirm in your wallet and portfolio
Your order’s total is estimated based on the best bid or best offer and the taker fee is applied to this amount. Here you see for selling $ 1 AVAX the estimated total is 14.18 USDC — the best bid on the book at that time.
Detail
- If you place a market order, the order will be filled by matching the best available bid(s) and offer(s) immediately. This is unlike limit orders which remain on the book if your chosen buy or sell price does not match with another order's price on the book.
- If your order is a market order, the order traverses to the opposite side of the order book, executing all available prices from best to worst, until filled.
- If your market order takes out the entire order book with its size without running out of gas, and it is still partially filled, it gets an unsolicited cancel for the remaining unfilled quantity.
- If your order is a very large market order that may be going through multiple levels in the order book, the maximum slippage percent parameter (at 5%) will always automatically cancel the remaining unfilled portion of the order if the next partial execution price is 5 % worse than the initial partial execution price that it started with.
