Avalanche Major News

• The Graph is now integrated with Avalanche. This means developers are now able to easily and reliably query Avalanche’s on-chain data within their applications via The Graph’s subgraphs.

• AllianceBlock is integrating its DeFi product suite. Expected to be live in Q3, users will be able to access AllianceBlock’s DeFi Investment Terminal, compliant P2P financial services, NFT capabilities, trustless KYC and identity verification solutions, and derivative pricing engine and analytics on Avalanche.

• The AVAX podcast, hosted by Chris Hart. The first episode is up featuring Hari Seldon one the founders of Crypt, a decentralized estate planning app built on Avalanche.

Staking (P-Chain)

• Stats:

  • 77.43% staking ratio (295,978,085 AVAX) – ↓ 0.5% from last week

  • ~10.6% current staking reward per year

  • 916 Validators – ↑ 22 from last week

Asset Layer (X-Chain) and DApp Layer (C-Chain)

• Avvy, a domain name system (like ENS) for the Avalanche
  C-Chain, X-Chain and more, launched on Fuji testnet with mainnet coming soon. Thread about what Avvy domains enable.

• AVAX (C-Chain) is now supported by Gravity Protocol Cross Chain Swaps.

• LinkRiver have a running Chainlink node on the C-Chain.

• OliveSwap launched an AMM on the C-Chain

• Spore Finance launched their own BSC <-> AVAX bridge

• Elk Finance released a new set of NFTs – Moose NFTs. They provide their holders with unique access and experience in the Elk platform, read more in their announcement post.

• Fai Protocol. Inspired by FEI, Fai is a stablecoin built on #Avalanche. Launching soon.

• Cheetah Finance, a new autocompounder, will be launched on the C-Chain soon.

• Stats:

  • 3,479  assets issued on the X & C Chains – ↑ 163 from last week

  • 55,769 total AVAX burned 🔥 – ↑ 4,802 from last week

Stuff for Devs

• New tutorial – Add Avalanche to MetaMask programmatically. If you’re working on a dapp that integrates with Metamask, build a button to add Avalanche network automatically.

• Gabriel Cardona and Nicolas Mussallem are presenting the Avalanche vision, roadmap and a technical overview at Google Developers Student Club. The event happens on Apr 13, 6:30 PM (CEST).

• Avascan released an API to get aggregated data about burned fees.

• Ava Labs are hosting Developer Services Office Hours on their Discord. They will take place every Wednesday from 2pm–5pm EST.

Ecosystem

• RAI Finance, a cross-chain trading protocol, is integrating with Avalanche to expand its platform’s cross-chain trading capabilities.

• Sinzu, a non-custodial mobile wallet app for Android/IOS device, are currently running a test and would like some of the Avalanche Community members to help test and give feedback on the App.

• DeFiLlama have started listing Avalanche projects. So far they listed Pangolin and Snowball Finance.

• Snowball Finance enabled governance. Interestingly they have decided to use quadratic voting, read about it in their docs.

• Pangolin launched governance, read this to understand how it works. Use this video tutorial by CederNet to learn how to participate.

• YieldYak announced plans for their token which will be called YAK

• Avascan Universal Search is live. You can currently search X-Chain addresses, assets and P-Chain validators and delegators, with everything else coming soon after.

• ZeroDex are building their own project / token launch platform

• Reflexer Finance are open to helping another team launch a RAI (decentralised stablecoin) implementation on Avalanche
