Avalanche Major News

• AnySwap has integrated Avalanche for its Cross-Chain Asset Bridge. Additionally FRAX is now available on Avalanche via this bridge, any token can apply to join.

• Verso, a decentralised marketplace for financial products, released their whitepaper. They will also be the first project launching via TrustSwap.

• Applications on Avalanche can now use Torus OpenLogin. Developers can directly add passwordless, Touch/FaceID onboarding within their apps.

Staking (P-Chain)

• Stats:

  • 78.17% staking ratio (299,276,008 AVAX) – ↑ 0.3% from last week

  • ~10.56% current staking reward per year

  • 923 Validators – ↑ 5 from last week

Asset Layer (X-Chain) and DApp Layer (C-Chain)

• Frax has partnered with Snowball’s s3F StableVault to bring Curve-style stability for FRAX, TUSD, and USDT.

• Gondola Finance – a stableswap for connecting any asset on Avalanche. Initially, have partnered with Zero to connect z-tokens to Avalanche’s native ERC20 tokens.

• Lydia Finance launched.

• Introducing Sinzu, a non-custodial mobile Avalanche wallet application that allows you to store and use your Avalanche assets securely on the X, P, and C chain.

• Snowflake Market Alpha version released on C Chain. Users can list their NFTs on market contract and sell them for AVAX and all ERC20s

• Sherpa Cash, a decentralised protocol for private transactions on Avalanche (Tornado Fork). Launching later this year, read their docs for more info.

• Bitgem, a new NTF game, launched.

• Baguette Swap, a French AMM, will be launching next month.

• Osiris Holdings, A gasless yield protocol, announced themselves.

• Markr are building a Dex aggregator platform.

• V-Cred, a participant of Encode Club, are building a bot driven flash loan protocol.

• Nexus Cards launched their internal NFT market.

• Stats:

  • 3,372 assets issued on the X & C Chains

  • 63,560 total AVAX burned 🔥 – ↑ 3,910 from last week

Stuff for Devs

• The C-Chain is now fully indexed and available through Covalent APIs

• AvalancheJS v3.2.6 released. Changes include custom error classes each with unique error codes, support for the new IndexRPC and replacing .then w/async/await.

• Avash v1.1.0 released, bringing full avalanchego v1.3.2 compatibility.

• Avalanche Postman Collection has been updated with Index API calls; also, info.Peers, platform.getCurrentValidators and platform.getPendingValidators have been updated with NodeID filters.

• You can use Avvy domains for identity provision in Dapps. Learn why & how. Code example.

• From now on Fuji is subject to same (higher) rate limits as the main net. Currently 2500reqs/10s.

• OpenZeppelin Defender now supports Avalanche.

Ecosystem

• Avvy Domains have released a chrome extension.

• A new site to show Real-time and historical service availability data for Avalanche

• Avalanche is live on cryptofees.info

• BENQI are running a second round of their public token sale.

• Pangolin updated their PNG emissions to allocate more PNG to PNG pools. If you were staking LP tokens you need to move to the new staking pools otherwise you will not earn PNG.

• AVAX was listed on Bittrex

• Avascan updates:

  • you can now filter Bridged tokens on C-Chain

  • a new burned fees stats page. My favourite part is seeing which contacts are burning the most AVAX.
