• UNION Finance announced they will launch products to improve DeFi capital efficiencies and product safety on Avalanche.

• Creating and Executing the Avalanche Network Node in Minutes with Minimal User Intervention by Eduardo Monteiro

• Stats:

  • 70.90% staking ratio (255,230,942 AVAX) ↑ 0% from last week

  • ~9.97% current staking reward per year

  • 788 Validators – ↑ 26 from last week

Asset Layer (X-Chain)

• 981 assets have been issued on the X-chain – ↑ 34 from last week

DApp Layer (C-Chain)

• NoTex now supports blog certification on Avalanche mainnet (and FUJI testnet)

• Vinay Gupta calculated that Avalanche is roughly one million times more efficient than Ethereum. He also hinted that Mattereum is coming to Avalanche.

• There has been an explosion of ERC20 tokens on the C-Chain. Looks like tokens whitelisted by the Ethereum <> Avalanche bridge. For a full list see this repo.

• Hardhat is compatible with C-Chain development – quick-start guide coming soon

• Devilla made a sample repo to run the C-Chain in a local environment (via truffle). Very clean setup docs included.
