Avalanche Major News

• AvalancheGo v1.2.1 released – The patch includes stability, performance, and monitoring improvements.

• Congress of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo is integrating Avalanche to become the first national congress to use it for the digital certification of its legislative documentation.

• SushiSwap is going multi-chain and will be deploying on the C-Chain

Staking (P-Chain)

• Avalanche Forum: AvalancheGo Validator + Mullvad VPN + WireGuard

• Stats:

  • 78.35% staking ratio (282,043,646 AVAX) – ↓ 2.4% from last week

  • ~9.81% current staking reward per year

  • 837 Validators – ↓ 11 from last week

Asset Layer (X-Chain) and DApp Layer (C-Chain)

• TUSD is now live natively on Avalanche.

• Roman Storm deployed his Token MultiSender and ERC20 Token Faucet DApps to the C-Chain.

• MetaMask announced better support for alternative EVM chains – this should solve most the issues MM users have experienced with the C-Chain.

• Zero Exchange are building an NFT marketplace

• Complus Network are building a BSC <-> Avalanche <-> Heco cross chain bridge. Currently live on testnet & launching soon.

• Stats:

  • 2318 assets issued on the X & C chains – ↑ 165 from last week

  • 23991 total AVAX burned 🔥 – ↑ 5799 from last week

Stuff for Devs

• Avalanche Smart Contract Quickstart – lay out a best-practices regarding writing, testing & deploying smart-contracts, built using HardHat. Developed by Gabriel Cardona & Das Connor

• Avash v1.0.3 released

• pyava, an Avalanche Python SDK by Quiark

• Garbiel Cardona & Aaron Buchwald are working on the roadmap for Avash. They’re asking the community for ideas, please reach out if you have some!

• The Figment Avalanche Learn Pathway is coming. $50,000 in $AVAX will be distributed to developers who learn how to build on Avalanche with DataHub, Starting March 16th.

Ecosystem

• Mastering Avalanche – The Internet of Finance. An open source book started by Ava Labs, they hope to leverage the wisdom of the wider community so PRs are welcome!

• The Pangolin governance forum is live

• SIMBA Chain is integrating further with Avalanche, adding support for AVAX to their HD Wallet and allowing smart contract designers to easily deploy Dapps to the C-Chain.

• Avascan introduced meta attributes for addresses, read their blog to learn more.

• AVAX is now tradable on SpaceSwap and Kucoin

• MyCointainer launched trading and staking services for AVAX

• Avalanche NFT Studio | Easily Mint Your Own NFTs – tutorial by CederNet

• Chainlist, a site by Andre Cronje (part of his multichain effort), features the C-Chain.
