Apricot: The first major upgrade to Avalanche was announced. Key improvements include verifiable pruning, epochs, freezable asset support and Avalanche Native Asset (ANT) ERC-20 support.
Avalanche Staking & Delegation Proposal by Nicholas Lemaitre. The proposal asks if we should decrease the minimum required AVAX to stake (currently 2000) and if we should increase the minimum delegation fee (currently 2%).

Avado have added support for Avalanche staking. They’re also running a competition where you have the chance to win their hardware.

Stats:
- 80% staking ratio (288,521,292 AVAX) – ↑ 1% from last week
- ~11% current staking reward per year
- 622 Validators – ↑ 12 from last week

281 assets have been issued on the X-chain – ↑ 41 from last week
You can now sign messages and prove ownership of addresses (without making a tx) directly in the web wallet.

You can transfer non-AVAX assets between the X-Chain and C-Chain thanks to the AvalancheJS v3.0.5 release. N.B. This is not available on the web wallet yet.
Avascan added support for the C-Chain

AvalancheJS v3.0.5 released: includes C-Chain RPC APIs and ANT (Avalanche Native Token) cross chain swap support – See relevant updated docs here.
The Avalanche Postman Collection has also been updated to reflect AvalancheJS v3.0.5.
