Avalanche News

• Figment launched support for Avalanche in their DataHub – you can build on Avalanche using their infrastructure for free via a suite of APIs (no need to run your own node).

• One Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge had entered it’s final stage of testing. Built by Chainsafe, the bridge is two-way token bridge that enables ERC-20 and ERC-721 transfers between Avalanche (via the C-Chain) and Ethereum.

Staking (P-Chain)

• Stats:

  • 79% staking ratio (286,107,448 AVAX) – ↓ 1% from last week

  • ~10.27% current staking reward per year

  • 631 Validators – ↑ 9 from last week

Asset Layer (X-Chain)

• 332 assets have been issued on the X-chain – ↑ 51 from last week

DApp Layer (C-Chain)

• A beta site for avaXswap has appeared – use at your own risk. Only use the testnet and only if you know what you’re doing! If you want to see how it works without testing yourself, tolon made a video.

• Avascan added a bunch of new C-Chain tracking features – read more in their blog
