AVADO Launches Plug-and-Play Hardware Nodes for Avalanche

Published by AVIX on

In celebration of the collaboration, AVADO and Avalanche are giving away over $3,500 in AVADO blockchain computers.

Validators are an essential part of Avalanche. They help secure the platform by processing the transactions on the platform in return for rewards in AVAX; the more active validators there are on Avalanche, the more secure the platform becomes. Today, there are 600+ block-producing validators on Avalanche.

To become a validator, you must set up an Avalanche node, which requires actively meeting the staking parameters and additional technical expertise. Some may prefer to have control over the process end-to-end, while for others, configuring and running your own node to validate may not be the best option.

Blockchain computers enable anyone to run a blockchain validator out-of-the-box. By running your own node, you also forgo the expense of paying for cloud infrastructure services.

“With AVADO, the biggest challenge on staking with Avalanche is to have 2,000 AVAX. We make it really simple to run the Avalanche node and access a staking wallet on a dedicated device running from your home. Optimal convenience with maximum privacy and supporting decentralization.” — Bernd Lapp, CEO of AVADO

Making Avalanche Nodes Even Easier to Launch and Maintain

Avalanche is now supported by AVADO, one of the leading providers of hardware nodes for networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum. AVADO takes all of the configuration pain away with their suite of blockchain computers–ranging from the lightweight AVADO i2 up to the AVADO i7.

Avalanche is designed to be a lightweight, user-friendly protocol to implement and run with limited hardware. The integration with AVADO also substantially lowers the barrier to entry for an entirely new wave of adopters to launch their own nodes and contribute to Avalanche’s rapid and unprecedented decentralization. Running an Avalanche node now requires no coding experience. Existing AVADO users can run an Avalanche node alongside or in-place of a node dedicated to another network.

Win Your Own AVADO

To celebrate the launch, we are teaming up with AVADO to run a month-long campaign to give you a chance to win 1 of 5 AVADO blockchain computers. The competition will begin on November 18, 2020 at 1:30PM ET and will end on December 15, 2020 at 11:59PM ET.

Entering is simple: all you need to do is interact with Avalanche x AVADO Contest page.

AVADO has generously made over $3,500 worth of hardware available for the winners of a social media giveaway, including:

We wish you all the best of luck!
