Avalanche Launches Bug Bounty Program on HackenProof
Avalanche bug bounty program will use HackenProof to detect and resolve any vulnerabilities.
Avalanche is launching a bug bounty program on HackenProof, one of the most reliable and advanced bug bounty platforms in the market. The program will leverage the insights and expertise of “white hat” hackers in the HackenProof community to optimize platform security and functionality.
Founded in 2017, HackenProof crowdsources the testing, discovery, and resolution of bugs. It enables projects to run custom bug bounty programs to curb the ever-evolving cybersecurity risks faced by technology platforms today. It has awarded over $270,000 of bug bounties to-date.
Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. Avalanche is the first decentralized smart contracts platform built for the scale of global finance, with near-instant transaction finality. Ethereum developers can quickly build on Avalanche as Solidity works out-of-the-box.
Security lies at the foundation of Avalanche and is becoming more important as the Avalanche ecosystem continues to rapidly expand and onboard new participants.
Smart contract activity on the platform has boomed since the launch of the Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge (AEB) on February 8. In that time, smart contract transactions have increased by 1,642% to over 945,000, and unique wallets increased by 2,675 % to over 59,000.
“HackenProof team is very proud of assisting a leading and revolutionary project in the elimination of system vulnerabilities. The Avalanche platform is a new-generation solution and we realize how strongly its team values security. The bug bounty program for this platform is a great opportunity for the Hacken community to prove its status as a leading cybersecurity expert in the industry. We are focused on becoming stronger by addressing new complex security threats,” says HackenProof CEO Evgenia Broshevan.
“HackenProof is a leading specialist bug bounty platform for crowd-sourced security testing of blockchain protocols and smart contracts. I look forward to working with their team and the whitehat hacking community to take the security of the Avalanche ecosystem to the next level,” says Dr. Arnold Yau, Security Engineer at Ava Labs
HackanProof is a bug bounty and vulnerability coordination platform that connects customers striving to eliminate security bugs with leading “white hat” hackers having enough skills to address clients’ concerns. There are more than 4,600 hackers in the HackenProof community and leading global brands entrust the platform with reinforcing their security.
Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. Avalanche is able to process 4,500+ transactions/second and instantly confirm transactions. Ethereum developers can quickly build on Avalanche as Solidity works out-of-the-box.
